Boo Weekley 2008
Our guest this week authored one of the real feel good stories of 2007…the popular Boo Weekley. Boo nearly won the Honda Classic and then less than two months later did win his first ever Tour event at Hilton Head. - In 2007, he recorded his first top-10 finish of the year with a tied for 8th place showing at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
- In 2007, he competed in 29 PGA Tour events, and placed in the Top 10 five times.
- The 2006 Nationwide Tour graduate earned his first PGA TOUR victory at the Verizon Heritage and collected more than $2.5 million.
- Member of the PGA TOUR in 2002 and 2007 and the Nationwide Tour in 2003-06.
- In 2006, finished seventh on the Nationwide Tour money list to graduate from that Tour for the first time and play on the PGA TOUR for the second time.
