- His best finish on the Champions Tour in 2003 was 36th at the MasterCard Championship.

- Currently, ranks 82nd on the Champions Tour All Time Money Leaders list.

- Won 10 tournaments on the Champions Tour – 1980 PGA Seniors Championship; 1981 U.S. Senior Open; 1982 Marlboro Classic, Denver Post Champions of Golf; 1983 Boc Grove Classic; 1984 General Foods PGA Seniors’ Championship; Senior Tournament Players Championship, Queadel Senior Classic: 1985 Senior Tournament Players Championship; 1988 Crestar Classic.

- In 2002, matched his age in the final round of the Napa Valley Championship when he shot a 1-over 73. It was the first time he shot his age since opening with a 1-under 71 at the 2001 Senior PGA Championship at Ridgewood CC in New Jersey. Accomplishment in Napa made him the eighth and final player to shoot or better his age on the Champions Tour during the season.

- Captured 62 PGA TOUR victories during his career.
