Our guest this week is Wisconsin native, Steve Stricker. Steve's freefall from being one of the best players in the world in the 90's to 337th on the world ranking list in 2005 was dramatic and hard to explain. But with a resurgence that began two years ago Steve's 2007 season was brilliant, capturing his first win since 2001 and winning his second consecutive comeback player of the year award.

» PGA TOUR Victories: 1996 Kemper Open, 1996 Motorola Western Open, 2001 World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, 2007 The Barclays.

» International Victories: 1990 Victoria Open (Canada), 1993 Canadian PGA. In 2008, finished second at the Mercedes-Benz Championship, losing to Daniel Chopra on the fourth playoff hole.

» The same year, claimed his fourth top-five finish in previous six starts the following week at the Sony Open in Hawaii. His T4 finish helped him reach the number three spot in the Official World Golf Ranking. Just six weeks earlier, he ranked 10th.

» In 2007, he entered 23 PGA Tour events, and scored in the Top 10 finishes 9 times.

» In 2007 had a career year, with a victory at The Barclays during the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup, a second-place finish in the FedExCup standings and a spot on the United States Presidents Cup team. He finished the season No. 4 in the Official World Golf Ranking, and was voted PGA TOUR Comeback Player of the Year for a second consecutive season

» Wife Nicki, who had been his caddie throughout his professional career, gave up the bag in 1998 to deliver daughter Bobbi Maria. Returned to caddie in 1999.

» He was inducted into the Wisconsin State Golf Association Hall of Fame in December of 2007.

» National Teams competed in: The Presidents Cup in 1996 and 2007, and the Dunhill Cup in 1996.
