In the year since Tadd's amazing performance at Sony a lot has happened to him including the fact that every morning when Tadd wakes up now, he’s a professional golfer.

Tadd Fujikawa's Player Stats

» Born January 8, 1991 in Honolulu, Hawaii; turned Pro July 2007

» He made his second PGA start (2006 US Open was the first) at the 2007 Sony Open, having gained entry by shooting 67 in the Open Qualifier (PGA Tour Exemption Category #17). In the second round of the Sony Open itself, Fujikawa became the youngest player in nearly 50 years to make a PGA cut. » In 2006 at age 15, he qualified for the US Open at Winged Foot by winning the Hawaii sectional qualifier, becoming the youngest player since 1941 to qualify for the tournament. At the US Open, Fujikawa shot 88-71 and missed the cut, finishing 140th.

» On July 12, 2007 Fujikawa announced that he will be turning pro.
