Kapalua's original course the Bay Course was designed by Arnold Palmer and Francis Duane and is resort golf in Hawaii at its best. At just over 6,600 yards the course is fairly short but that doesn't mean it is easy. In fact before the Plantation Course was developed, The Bay Course was the home of the PGA Tour's nationally televised Kapalua International. This course is very user friendly for the average golfer, is beautifully landscaped and takes you through the heart of the Kapalua Resort. Without a doubt the signature hole is the stunning par 3 5th, which requires a precise shot over Oneloa Bay and the crashing Pacific surf below. Regardless of how you play you will always find drama here… and don't forget your camera.
