The King Kamehameha Golf Club and Kahili Golf Course

In Central Maui in an area called Waikapu, along the foothills of the West Maui Mountains, you will encounter two unique golf experiences.

The King Kamehameha Golf Club, Maui’s only private 18 hole club, was originally designed by Ted Robinson Sr. in 1991 and refreshed in 2005 by Ted Robinson, Jr. This exclusive membership course boasts bi-coastal ocean views as well as the lush green isthmus leading up to the base of the spectacular dormant volcano Haleakala. There are no houses or development to mar some of the best views of Maui you have ever seen. The 74,000 square foot clubhouse is designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and houses original art and artifacts that epitomizes the Hawaiian Culture and the spiritual sense of place. Experience the King Kamehameha Golf Club for a day and become a member for life… this could be your club too.

The Kahili Golf Course, designed by Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright, was constructed in 1991. Immediately adjacent to the King Kamehameha Golf Club the Kahili Course shares the same stunning ocean and Haleakala views. Touted as Maui’s best golf value, the Kahili provides superb turf conditions and immaculate putting surfaces in a pure golf experience without any nearby properties or housing. The Kahili Golf Course has it own spacious clubhouse and restaurant. This course is a popular choice for local and visiting golfers alike.

Whichever of these two golf course you choose to play you will be welcomed with Aloha, heart and soul.
